Air Côte d’Ivoire honored at the 2026 National Excellence Award

The 13th edition of the National Excellence Award recognized Air Côte d’Ivoire, honored for its performance and its contribution to the development of air transport in Côte d’Ivoire.

The distinction was received by the airline’s CEO, Laurent Loukou, on August 3 at the presidency in Abidjan Plateau.

Over the years, Air Côte d’Ivoire has established itself as a major player in air transport in the subregion. With a fleet of 14 aircraft, the airline now serves 25 destinations across its domestic, regional, and international networks. Domestically, it operates routes to six cities: Abidjan, Bouaké, Korhogo, Man, Odienné, and San Pedro. These are complemented by more than 19 regional and international destinations, reflecting the continued expansion of its network.

This growth momentum, along with the efforts made to improve the country’s connectivity, earned the airline this recognition at the highest level of the state through the National Excellence Award.

In total, this 13th edition honored 80 laureates, including 45 individuals and 35 organizations, among them 11 public administration bodies.

A true showcase for the promotion of merit, the National Excellence Award highlights those who stand out for their performance and their contribution to the nation’s development.

Established on April 24, 2013, the award will undergo several improvements starting with the next edition, aiming to further strengthen the recognition of excellence and merit in Côte d’Ivoire.
