Air Côte d’Ivoire receives its first A330neo

Air Côte d’Ivoire, the flag carrier of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, has taken delivery of the first of its two Airbus A330-900 aircraft.

The A330neo is the airline’s first widebody aircraft and features a comfortable four-class cabin configuration: four seats in First Class, 44 in Business, 21 in Premium Economy and 173 in Economy. Air Côte d’Ivoire is the leading airline in West and Central Africa, serving 22 destinations across the continent. The A330-900 fleet will play a key role in the airline’s expansion plans to Europe, starting with Paris, the French capital, and later to destinations in the Middle East and North America.

The delivery flight of Air Côte d’Ivoire’s first A330neo, from Toulouse to Abidjan, carried five tonnes of humanitarian aid, including materials and school supplies. This was the airline’s third solidarity flight, coordinated with the Airbus Foundation and supported by Aviation Sans Frontières, which provided the donations. The aid was distributed to two local NGOs, LifeShine and La Bienfaisance, directly supporting their health and education initiatives in Abidjan.

The A330neo features the award-winning Airspace cabin, offering passengers a unique experience with high levels of comfort, ambiance and design. This includes more personal space, larger overhead bins, a new lighting system, and access to the latest in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems.

By the end of July 2025, the A330 Family had received more than 1,920 firm orders from over 130 customers worldwide. Like all Airbus aircraft, the A330neo is already capable of operating with up to 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Airbus aims for its aircraft to be capable of flying with up to 100% SAF by 2030.
