PREGNANT WOMEN

If you are expecting a child, please advise us at the time you make your booking, or no later than 48 hours before departure.

 
 

 

 

For a safe flight, pregnant women must have a medical certificate issued by a doctor stating that they are able to travel. The company may refuse boarding to passengers not in possession of such a certificate.

From the 28th week of pregnancy, the attending obstetrician must issue a medical certificate of ability to travel, stating the number of weeks of pregnancy and the expected date of delivery. This certificate must be delivered no later than 7 days before departure, for both return and round-trip flights.

Pregnant woman must complete the disclaimer form issued after presentation of the medical certificate.

Pregnant women may travel until the end of their 32nd week.

At 32 weeks plus 1 day, pregnant women are not allowed to travel on Air Côte d’Ivoire. If the pregnancy is considered difficult and/or multiple, her ob-gyn must provide medical authorization to travel.

The obstetrician must complete a medical authorization form (MEDA), which the passenger must submit to the airline no later than 48 hours before flight departure.
